WELCOME BACK NEWS
Beulah High School is pleased to announce plans for BHS students preparing to start the school year. The first day of school for the 2014-2015 school year is Tuesday, August 5. Click here for a copy of the 2014-2015 school calendar. A new procedural plan for selling reserved student parking permits has gone into effect as of Friday, July 11, 2014. All permits sold prior to July 11th will be honored or can be exchanged for a reserved parking space during the scheduled dates below.
Important note for all students who wish to purchase a reserved parking pass:
Students are required to provide a copy of their driver’s license and proof of insurance before being allowed to purchase a reserved student parking permit. A Student Driver/Parking Agreement form must also be completed.
Student locker sales, class schedule pick-ups and purchasing of reserved student parking passes will take place using the following schedule:
Thursday, July 31st
8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. – Sophomores may purchase reserved parking passes for $15, purchase lockers for $10 (if installation of new lockers is completed) and pick up their class schedules.
9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. – Freshmen may purchase lockers for $10 and pick up their class schedules.
Friday, August 1st
9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. – Both eighth grade and seventh grade students may purchase lockers for $10 and pick up their schedules.
10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon – All incoming seventh grade students are invited to attend Beulah’s "Heads Up, 7 Up Camp" for orientation. We will begin (and end) the orientation in the Jerry L. Southwell Gymnasium.
7TH GRADE RESIDENCY VERIFICATION
7TH GRADE STUDENTS from Beulah Elementary School entering BEULAH HIGH SCHOOL for the 2014-2015 school year must provide two proofs of residency between Monday, July 21, and Thursday, July 31, between the hours of 8:00 am and 2:00 pm CST. This must be done each time a student moves to a new school building, which all upcoming 7th graders are doing this year. These two proofs showing residency in the attendance zone and in Lee County include:
- Apartment/Home Lease Agreement
- Home Purchase Agreement (House Notes)
- Utility Bill - water, power, phone, cable
- Property Tax Record
- Income Tax Record (mailed by the IRS verifying address)
